Dr Hunt is from Western Australia. He studied medicine at the University of Newcastle before moving back to WA. He trained as an anaesthetist in all the major hospitals in Perth also completing subspecialty training in Paediatrics and Regional Anaesthesia.
His subspecialty interests include anaesthetics for the following Bariatric Surgery, Endoscopy, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedic Surgery, ENT and Maxillofacial Surgery, Eye Surgery and Paediatric Surgery.
